Comical goal adds to ENGLAND's Misery

With three minutes to go, England were leading 2-1 when Quillan Roberts ventured out of his goal to take a free-kick just inside Canada's half.

He launched the ball forward and after it evaded a melee of outfield players, it took one high bounce before clearing the despairing dive of Jordan Pickford in England's goal.

ENGLAND'S week of international misery took a comical turn last night when the Under-17s conceded a late equaliser from Canada's GOALKEEPER.

The 2-2 draw gave Canada their first ever World Cup point at U-17 level.

At least the U-17 Three Lions still have something to fight for — unlike their U-21 counterparts (who got knocked out of the European Championship in Denmark earlier this month).

Mayans Predicted THE JAPANESE EARTHQUAKE!

Apparently, the Mayans predicted the Earthquake in Japan and therefore many fatalists are asking, could 2012 be the real deal?

Most religions and cultures share a perception that things as we know them, won’t last forever. Countless predictions have been made about how it’s all going to go down and again, most cultures and religions coincide in that it will not be a pretty thing.

Here’s where things get spooky: The last cycle or wave, the “Unity” cycle ended on March 9 2011, and the Mayans predicted it would end with a massive earthquake. The massive Japanese earthquake occurred on the 10th of March.

According to scholars who have studied what was left of Mayan writings after the Spaniards ravaged them to shreds and burned every book they could find, the Mayans used the movement of the cosmos as tale tell signs of what was going to happen to us here on Earth.

Bye Villa! Hello Cesc!

No Sacrifice, No Victory!

European champions Barcelona could opt to sacrifice their star striker David Villa, in order to finance their potential triple transfer coup.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Catalans conceded that they'll have to sell Villa, who joined the side a little over a year ago for £35m from Valencia, in order to fund a potential £91m swoop for Cesc Fabregas, Alexis Sanchez and Giuseppe Rossi. Due to the £350m debt laden on the Spanish giants, the champions have been forced to sell-to-buy.

Will they be able to play together for Barca?

Arsenal whose valuation of Fabregas is £40m, have been told that they'll have to settle for £35m for the ex-Barca youth-team midfielder. However, a cash-plus-player deal could settle the deal. Pep Guardiola's side are also the front runners to sign Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez, for a reported £27m, along with Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi for £26m.

You are never GO(o)NE(r) get CESC!

The speculation time is over .  Barcelona have officially made an  £27m bid for the Arsenal skipper which was immediately turned down.

Barca president Sandro Rossell made the verbal offer to Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis. The Catalan giants have kept their tradition of trying to get Fabregas back to The Nou Camp with this offer. But according to me this offer was very stupid as Arsenal had turned down £31m and £29m bids for Cesc last year.No doubt this bid was turned down instantly.

(Ade-by-whore got a similar price from Manchester City, then Cesc is surely worth double this bid.)

And when clubs like Real Madrid and Manchester City are ready to spill cash to get Fabregas, Barcelona really need to gear up.

Tennis Stars Imitate Each Other

Tennis IS not a funny game. (Okay, I know I SUCK at writing articles, and the opening line was lame indeed).

Here are some videos in which Andy Roddick imitates Maria Sharapova and the world No.1 Rafael Nadal.

 Hope you enjoy them.
